Together with their peers, with discussions led and facilitated by Dr. Mike and Julie Postma, participants will have an opportunity to learn, grow and connect with other like-minded teens/young adults to help prepare them for their future with more confidence, tools and success.

Workshop Details:
6 Weekly Sessions
Each weekly session focuses on a different topic related to neurodiversity and young adulthood. Each session includes a pre-recorded video lesson to watch at your convenience, as well as a live discussion group Zoom meeting on Thursdays.
2 Groups
This workshop is split into two separate groups: one for older teens (ages 15-19) and one for young adults (ages 20+). Groups are kept small, with no more than 15 participants per group.
Group Zoom Meetings
Live group meetings will be about 90 minutes long and include a short, 10 minute lesson/overview of the topic, followed by group discussions and smaller group break out room activities.
Group meetings are on Thursdays 10/27, 11/3, 11/10, 11/17, (break for Thanksgiving), 12/1, 12/8. The teens group meet at 4:00pm PT (7:00pm ET) and the young adults group meets at 6:00pm PT (9:00pm ET).

Learn the science behind neurodiversity, strategies to help manage related challenges, and how you can embrace your unique self and strengths.

Connect and collaborate with neurodivergent peers, and learn how to build your support network and community in adulthood.

Plan and prepare for upcoming big decisions and changes, and consider choices that are best for your individual needs, wellbeing, passions and goals.
Meet Your Instructors:
Dr. Mike & Julie Postma
Dr. Mike and Julie Postma have over 25 years of experience in coaching and teaching neurodivergent children, teens and young adults. They're also parents to 4 unique Gifted/2e kids who have grown into young adults–thriving in their lives and on their own terms.
Both Mike and Julie are trained and certified SENG Model Parent Group (SMPG) facilitators.
