Finding the appropriate help for your twice-exceptional (2e) child, whether it be for intellectual assessment or assistance with one or more challenges, it is imperative that you find the right help to ensure accurate assessments and accurate recommendations. The 2e child experiences atypical neuro development that affects how they grow and learn. In short, their metaphysical growth is very different than their more typical peers. This means they need a different approach to intellectual assessment, follow-up recommendations, and educational strategies/accommodations. Join Dr. Mike Postma, along with special guest Dr. Dan Peters as they explain the intricacies of this diverse development and what a parent needs to be cognizant of when finding psychological assistance for their twice-exceptional child. You won't want to miss this informative and helpful session!
