In a world that often moves too quickly for our hearts and nervous systems,

many of us carry the invisible weight of stress, emotional overwhelm, and unresolved trauma. For neurodiverse individuals, gifted creatives, and deeply feeling minds, this experience can be especially intense; our brains and nervous systems are wired to sense, feel, and process the world in profound ways.

When we are triggered, the brain’s survival circuitry can take over, pulling us into patterns of fear, tension, or emotional reactivity. Over time, this can leave us feeling stuck in cycles of anxiety, self-doubt, or exhaustion, making it difficult to experience the beauty, connection, and joy that life offers.

Yet neuroscience and contemplative wisdom offer hopeful news: the brain and nervous system are capable of change. With intentional practices, we can gently rewire our patterns, calm the body, and cultivate greater emotional balance and resilience.

In this heart- and mind-centered program, Dr. Nicole A. Tetreault and Dr. Michael Postma guide participants through a compassionate journey of healing and self-discovery using insights from neuroscience, psychology, mindfulness, and contemplative traditions. Together, we will explore how trauma shapes the brain and body—and more importantly, how we can create new pathways of safety, compassion, and peace.

Through psychoeducation and experiential practices, participants will learn tools to:

● Understand the neuroscience of emotional regulation
● Recognize trauma triggers and shift out of survival patterns
● Develop emotional intelligence and compassionate awareness
● Calm and regulate the nervous system
● Build resilience through mindfulness and somatic practices
● Cultivate deeper self-compassion for self and others

Each session blends science with restorative practices, including guided meditation, breath awareness, somatic exploration, expressive writing, and deep relaxation practices that nourish both mind and spirit. These approaches help quiet the mind, restore balance to the nervous system, and create space for greater clarity, creativity, and joy.

Most importantly, this journey invites you to reconnect with your true essence—the place within you that is naturally calm, compassionate, and whole. As we deepen our awareness and learn to care for our nervous systems with kindness, we begin to rediscover something beautiful: the simple joy of being alive, present, and connected.

Join us in this transformative experience as we learn to heal and cultivate calm, resilience, and heartfelt peace.
